Some Bunny Is ONE...

How I have a one year old now just absolutely blows my mind. Babies definitely do not keep and grow oh so fast. Remi has so much personality and brings so much light to everyone that she comes in contact with. This girl is a speed racer when it comes to crawling, I can only imagine what it will look like once she is walking. Remi loves to talk and is always chatting away and gets very angry if all attention is not on her. Some of her favorite words are light, hat, dog, and what's that. Food wise give her all of the french fries from In-N-Out and she will be the happiest girl in the world. Watching her grow and learn new things is my absolute favorite thing and I am so blessed to be her mom.
When it came to picking a theme for her birthday party I knew that it had to have something to do with bunnies... I mean she is a spring baby, so it only made sense. Amazon, Etsy and Dollar Tree were my best friends when it came to getting the items needed for her party.
We figured out how we could do In-N-Out for a large group of people without having to cater it in and it was the BEST. My love for In-N-Out is ridiculous and I am pretty sure that love passed on to Remi. Our local In-N-Out was great and let us put in an order the day before for 30 cheeseburgers and 30 frenchfries. We told them what time we would need to pick it up at and they had it ready to go when my father-in-law went to pick it up.
As for the cake, I had this idea in my head of what I wanted her smash cake to look like. After multiple quotes I just could not fathom spending $50+ on a smash cake that would mostly be wasted. Sam's Club is the best place to get a cake!!! I already knew this, it was where we got our wedding cake... I just really wanted the rustic looking cake and knew they could not do it. Well I ended up going to them anyway and let me tell you... it was so WORTH IT! Her cake was still ADORABLE. The ladies in the bakery were great at helping me fill out the form so that I got the cake and cupcakes that I wanted. I was able to get a little smash cake for Remi and over 30 cupcakes for around what it would have cost me for just the one cake. I call that a win and HIGHLY recommend Sam's Club for cakes and cupcakes.
Every little detail was just perfect from the food, the ball pit, balloons, bubble machines, yard games, and all the family and friends there to help us celebrate. I 100% loved having my cousin there to take all these beautiful pictures of the party so that we can remember the day (I maybe took one picture the whole day because... chasing baby around). She also did Remi's one year pictures the week prior so we were able to put them up around the party. If you live in AZ and need a good photographer, she is the best! It was overall such a fun and magical day and I definitely would not have been able to pull it off without the help of my parents and my in-laws. Remi just loved every moment of it which made my heart so happy. She really loves her people, even at such a young age.
